The paper presents the opportunities to apply computer graphics in an object floodlighting design process and analysis of illumination. course has been defined based on a virtual three-dimensional geometric model. problems related carrying out lighting, calculating average illuminance, luminance levels determining illuminated surface area are also described. These parameters directly tied with calculations Floodlighting Utilisation Factor, therefore, energy efficiency as well aspects light pollution natural environment. shows how high impact model accuracy photometric calculations. Very often contains components that should not be taken into account research what influence purity mesh obtained results is presented. It errors can significant, but it possible optimise 3D appropriately order receive precise results. For example presented this paper, removing planes do constitute its external caused two-fold increase illuminance luminance. This dangerous because designer who wants achieve specific level their without optimizing will obtain values actually much higher.
